Hamaguchi & Associates Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists, Inc. is a professional corporation dedicated to providing private speech-language therapy for children in a warm and loving environment. We take pride in being a model of “best practices” in the field of speech-language pathology, utilizing state-of-the-art methods, tests, training, and materials. Our licensed speech-language pathologists are passionate about working with children, and all hold a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, are licensed in the state of California and members of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Our office is child-friendly, complete with toys, puppets, videos, games and specialized software. We offer assessments, as well as individual or group therapy sessions for children up to age 12.
**We are so sorry, but at this time we are completely full and not accepting new clients this summer. We will be scheduling new clients for the 2017-2018 academic year program beginning in late June/early July. We anticipate having limited morning, early afternoon and assessment appointments available starting in late August 2017. After-school/afternoon appointments are completely filled. After-school groups may have limited openings. Please fill out a Waitlist Form for the 2017-2018 academic year program if desired.
Founder and Director, Patti Hamaguchi is a BabyCenter.com expert, author of Childhood Speech, Language & Listening Problems: What Every Parent Should Know (Wiley & Sons, 3rd edition 2010) and two books on the treatment of auditory processing by ProEdinc.com. She developed a new standardized test with Dr. Deb Swain called the RESCA-E (Receptive, Expressive & Social Communication Assessment-Elementary). It is published by Academic Therapy Publications.
